Yes, for gameplay reasons players now start each round with only 110 HP. Of course, bonus HP can still be "earned" through kills.

You can play on our servers free of charge, 24/7. Our VIP program is completely free as well.

Yes, the sale of Premium accounts was permanently discontinued on 08/17/15. Since then, all VIP features are completely free — all you need is a free forum registration (and verification via Steam login).

The "4played Community Account" is a free (extended) forum account introduced with 4played V2. After registering, or after your first login on our new website, you'll be asked to verify your forum account via Steam login. After that you can conveniently manage your VIP settings right on our website.

The connection to the Steam servers was most likely interrupted: close the game and your Steam client, then restart both — VIP should work again afterwards. If the problem persists, please contact us by email, or describe the issue in our forum.

As a VIP you can color your nickname in the in-game chat. There are three ways to do this:

• Via our web interface using a color wheel
• Directly in the in-game chat with the command !chatcolor HEX-CODE
• Via the console with the command premium_chatcolor HEX-CODE

The quickest way is through our own Steam ID Finder: just enter your profile link, custom URL, or an already known Steam ID, and the tool automatically converts it into all common formats (SteamID, SteamID3, SteamID64). With our free VTF Spray Converter you can convert images, animated GIFs, and even videos into the Valve Texture Format (VTF) directly in your browser — no upload required, everything is processed locally. You'll end up with a VTF and a VMT file, which you copy together into the materials/vgui/logos/ folder of your game (e.g. Counter-Strike: Source). Please make sure to follow our community rules regarding prohibited spray content.

First enable the developer console under Options → Keyboard → Advanced. You can then open it in-game at any time with the ^ / ~ key. Alternatively, the launch option -console in the game's Steam properties will open the console automatically on startup. If your game crashes unexpectedly on a regular basis, console logging can help track down the issue. Add the launch option -condebug in the Steam properties of Counter-Strike: Source — all console output will then be saved to the file console.log in the cstrike folder. Switch to spectator mode, follow the suspicious player, and start recording via the console with record demoname. Right after that, run the command status so the player's Steam ID gets logged in the demo, then stop the recording later with stop. The finished .dem file can be found in your game folder — report it to us together with the player's name, Steam ID, and server. Our custom-built Botcontrol feature lets you keep actively playing after you die by taking over a free bot on your team: switch to spectator view, navigate to a free bot on your team, and press "E". This feature is only available on our 4played Standard (Only) servers, not on Deathmatch or GunGame servers.
